Objective: Reduce post-harvest losses (30 to 40% of onion and potato production), estimated at nearly 50 billion FCFA annually.
Investment: 170 billion FCFA as part of a public-private partnership (with no direct state funding).
Expected impact: Creation of 300 jobs, equipping 10 sites, with work scheduled to start before the end of 2025.
Operation powered by solar energy (50 MW, with surplus energy to be injected into the Senelec grid).
